Welcome to St. Bede the Venerable school! We are a fully-accredited, Catholic grammar school that that seeks to empower children through faith development and academic excellence.
Located at the base of the foothills in La Canada Flintridge, California, we educate children from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade, with 100% of our graduates matriculating to their top choice high schools including FSHA, St. Francis, Loyola, Mayfield, and Poly.
Determining the school that best meets the educational, emotional, and spiritual needs of your child can be a challenging process. The administration at St. Bede is here to help support you through each stage from discovery through acceptance. APPLICATION POLICY
St. Bede seeks students who demonstrate a sense of character, the ability to thrive in an academically rigorous environment, and whose parents’ goals align with those of the school. Applicants for all grades are evaluated on a variety of factors including interviews, standardized assessments, recommendations from current teachers, and for our older applicants, academic records from current schools.

ACCREDITATION
St. Bede the Venerable School is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA). WCEA accredits Catholic elementary and secondary schools in nine western states (26 archdioceses) and the US Territory of Guam. WCEA co-accredits and is in partnership with three Regional agencies (WASC, NAAS, NCA CASI) and two private agencies (CAIS and HAIS).
